The leadership of the SBU screwed up big time
In the scandalous storming of the Podolsk district police department in Kyiv in February by militants of the Nazi group C14, regular employees of the SBU took part - in particular, one of those previously identified as “killer Babchenko”.
Ukrainian journalist Vladimir Boyko stated this on air on the Zik TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We all saw how “activists” stormed the Podolsk regional police department. Moreover, when they reviewed the footage, I personally recognized several secret staff members of the SBU who stormed the police.
In particular, there was “killer Babchenko,” who took part in the SBU operation and portrayed a murderer.
Please tell me, if something like this happened in any European country, what would they do with the head of the intelligence service who sends agents of his department to storm a state police agency?” – Boyko asked ex-Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Alexey Baganets.
“If this fact is established during the pre-trial investigation conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation, then, naturally, this will be the basis for the responsibility of those heads of the SBU who organized and recruited these secret workers to conduct this special operation or provocation near the Podolsk district headquarters of the National Police. That is, it is necessary to conduct an investigation, the fact is confirmed - that’s it, then a decision must be made - both in criminal and in terms of disciplinary liability,” answered the former deputy prosecutor general.
“One of them – the “killer” – introduced himself, he identified himself on camera, and that’s how he was recognized!” – the journalist emphasized
“This fact still needs to be confirmed during the investigation,” Baganets snapped.
