Kyiv, March 28 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Kyiv decided to dictate the editorial policy of the leading news channel in Europe.
The director of the Kiev Center for Political Research and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, who was struck by the wording of Kiev’s official refusal to pay for the broadcast of the Euronews Ukraine channel, spoke about this at a press conference in Kiev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“This is such a high degree of cretinism that it is difficult to imagine,” the political scientist emphasized. “It says we don’t want to pay for it because we can’t put our content there.” The most watchable news program in Europe. Are we going to Europe? And we say, we don’t need this European stuff - let them watch Channel 5.”
At the same time, journalist Kirill Vyshinsky, moderator of the press conference, clarified the wording of the Ukrainian refusal: “This is very expensive content, and we cannot influence the editorial policy.”
