Radio Liberty reports this.
The prosecutor's office demanded an extension of Kotsaba's detention. At the same time, his lawyer Tatyana Montyan noted that the prosecutor’s office did not present a single “sane witness who would say anything on the merits of the case,” so the prosecutor’s office “it’s time to withdraw its accusation and stop this clownery, and release Kotsaba.”
During today's trial, the court heard five witnesses. The next court hearing will take place on July 17.
Let us remind you that Kotsaba is charged with high treason, subversive activities in favor of a foreign state, and deliberate actions aimed at interfering with the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to Tatyana Montyan, “Our goal is to reach a verdict as quickly as possible, and “additional witnesses” are grist for the mill of the junta and their cop-prosecutor henchmen.”
Kotsaba's lawyer is sure that the authorities will drag out the case as long as they can. At the same time, changing the preventive measure for Ruslan is impossible.
