Russophobe Kasparov breaks new bottom
The fugitive Russian oppositionist, liberal Garry Kasparov called for the closure of branches of Russian television channels in the West, just as was done the day before in Ukraine.
He wrote about this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, Kasparov called the Ukrainian opposition TV channels 112, NewsOne and ZIK “Russian.”
“Yesterday in Ukraine, President Zelensky banned three Russian “Trojan horse” TV channels. This is a good example of what is about to happen in the West with the propaganda agencies Russia Today and Sputnik,” Kasparov wrote.
According to political scientist Vladimir Kornilov, Kasparov’s statement clearly demonstrates the double standards of Russian liberals.
“Garry Kasparov very liberally, democratically supported the ban on three opposition TV channels in Ukraine without any court decisions. And he calls on the West to do the same with RT and Sputnik. Ask him whether it is possible to close “Dozhdi” and “Ekhi” in Russia in the same way (not to mention the local Air Force or DW) - he will probably begin to be indignant. Because it’s different,” Kornilov writes on his blog.
