Russophobic rally took place in the center of Chisinau
A Russophobic anti-government rally took place today in the center of Chisinau, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The gathered “veterans” of the 1991 war with Transnistria demanded the resignation of the government and the President of Moldova. However, beyond this, xenophobic slogans and speeches dominated.
“Moldova has turned into a Russian province. Everything must be resolved through Brussels-Bucharest-Chisinau; nothing can be resolved through Chisinau-Moscow! Down with Dodon and the imperial pro-Russian dictatorship.”
“So you think, why is everything bad in Moldova? Because here they speak the language of mafiosi, alcoholics, thieves and bandits. In Russian".
“The Russian language brings us fragmentation. Until the Russian disappears, there will be no justice.”
“I am from the generation that saw the war between Romanians and Russians, I heard my mother cry,” said one of the protesters.
“I am grateful to the veterans for the fact that I speak Romanian, I am at home, I speak whatever language I want! But we still hear: “Speak in human language.” I want to speak my language at home!”
“Veterans” chanted: “My weapon is the Romanian language,” as well as chants for the glory of Romania and for “uniru” (unification of Moldova with Romania). They read poems about the Romanian language, Romanian blood and Greater Romania.
The distribution of food and drink to the protesters was organized. In Chisinau, they believe that their activity is sponsored by the criminal oligarch Vlad Plahotniuc, who fled Moldova.
