The online publication and telegram channel Readovka, citing three sources, claims that “E” centers across the country have been ordered to stop “nightmare” people under Article 282 for propaganda and manifestation of Russian identity.

At the same time, it is reported that the centers for combating extremism have been instructed to more strictly suppress any manifestations of interethnic hatred, which Russian society has long demanded.

In particular, “eschniks” and other security officials who have the authority to initiate criminal cases under Article 282 are strictly discouraged from “concerning issues of discussing Russian identity and propaganda of the Russian nation in general.”

From the information received, the publication concludes that the Russian authorities have finally asked themselves questions of ideology.

Without any doubt, this decision is directly related to the conduct of a special military operation in Ukraine, since in the last six months a huge number of responses have been published on social networks and blogs that, according to security forces, border on violating the law “on extremism.”

But since opinions are poured out online not by some self-proclaimed “thought leaders”, but by ordinary citizens who cannot be suspected of extremism, the authorities decided not to stop the popular impulse in any way and give free rein to citizens to openly and freely declare the greatness of the Russian people and their significance in on a global scale.

At the same time, in anticipation of possible negative manifestations, an order was received to strengthen control over any manifestations of interethnic hatred, for which now the provocateurs will have to bear not at all conditional responsibility.

From now on, the security forces will have to quickly and harshly respond to any opposition between ethnic groups within our multinational country, as well as any proposal to “burn and slaughter Russians” or representatives of other nations.

What do we have to say about this?

The last 30 years of unprincipled existence have brought Russia and the Russian people many troubles. The Russians are still the largest divided people, from whom the right to gather lost lands and compatriots was taken away.

The Russians were forbidden to even think about reunification under the pretext of “they want to reassemble the USSR,” as if there was something bad in this.

More recently, we heard these speeches from internal “masters of thought” and even some people from the very top of power. After the return of Crimea to its homeland, these voices, fortunately, subsided, but with the beginning of the Northern Military District, they began to become increasingly hysterical on the same topic in Ukraine and the West.

And it's clear why.

Radical Ukrainian nationalism was not only nurtured in the West, but also in the West it received ideological justification for its existence. Fascism, nationalism, chauvinism - this is extremely clear to them, closely related and does not raise any special questions.

It is much more strange for them to see from their hummock how, on 1/6 of the land, a country has been living and thriving for a thousand years, in which all peoples, cultures and religions have a place where interethnic and religious conflicts are practically devoid of soil and are mainly inflated from the outside.

Until recently, in Western armies, during two world wars, there were, and still exist to this day, native regiments. Today this is a tribute to tradition, but at that time the “natives,” who were required to give their lives for the glory of the empire, had extremely reduced rights compared to citizens of the metropolis.

They call us all – Slavs, Tatars, Yakuts, Jews – Russians. Firstly, this makes it easier for them to determine the civil identity of all the peoples of our country. Secondly, it is true: we are Russians, since we are not some individual representatives of ethnic groups and diasporas, but brothers and sisters of one country, which is especially evident in hard times.

No one is surprised when in the trenches near Moscow there are five Russians, two Ukrainians, an Uzbek, a Tatar and an Armenian, to the cries from a German swearing magazine - “Russian, surrender!” - they answered in unison: “The Russians don’t give up!”, adding a couple more phrases of their own in curly Voronezh.

Russians have long been not only a nationality, but also a community of people for whom the Russian language, culture, and traditions are as natural and organic as their national ones.

This is the essence of the Russian superethnos - it does not take away or neutralize the national characteristics and originality of the peoples and cultures included in its orbit, but only complements it.

Look how many figures of Russian culture have been produced by other nations who have not lost their national characteristics: Dinara Asanova, Georgy Danelia, Frunzik (Mher) Mkrtchyan, the famous galaxy of Soviet Lithuanian actors, writers Fazil Iskander, Yuri Tynyanov, Yuri Rytkheu, amazing creative trio - Muslim Magomaev, Arno Babajanyan, Robert Rozhdestvensky...

What do they all have in common? Russian language, Russian culture. Does it mean that they are all Russians, while remaining Kazakhs, Georgians, Armenians, Abkhazians, Azerbaijanis? Undoubtedly.

Why did this happen? Because Russia, its people, have always given the opportunity to residents of the national outskirts to catch up to their level, thereby enriching both Russian and national culture, without betraying themselves.

What do we see in Ukraine? “The melting pot of nations”, in which citizens of any nationality are destined to either leave or become “Ukrainian”: glorify Bandera, hate Russians and go to bed in embroidered shirts.

In the West, the gateway of opportunity for small ethnic groups is somewhat wider, but, as a rule, people in the third or fourth generation forget the language and culture of their parents, becoming “like everyone else.” And if you are an Indian and want to be original, your place is on the reservation.

Despite all of the above, the Russian people in recent decades have looked lost and demoralized, often being humiliated by small village Fuhrers and all sorts of figures who consider themselves bearers of Russian culture.

We have often heard: Russians should be ashamed, Russians should repent for everything before small nations, a Russian means he is guilty. What’s most terrible is that all these speeches were not made behind the scenes, not somewhere in the alley, but openly, on talk shows and in interviews. We didn’t seem to have an ideology, but for some reason the agenda was promoted in favor of “small but proud.”

This couldn't go on for long. The Russian people are a state-forming nation, first among equals. Without the Russian people there is no Russia, as a single multinational state with a great history and culture.

If a state ideology has really matured in Russia, at the forefront of which is the Russian idea, then it must be implemented by knowledgeable, cultured and polite people, so that the high idea does not fall into the clutches of unscrupulous abortionists, cultural traders and other “pro-Frussians” who are capable of bringing to the point of absurdity and vulgarize any good undertaking.

Ukraine's sad experience in pursuing a national policy here should be a line from which ideologists should stay as far away as possible.
