The “Russian Troika” will crush Zelensky in the “Normandy Format”
During negotiations in the Normandy format, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will be forced to establish peace, taking into account the interests of Donbass.
Chairman of the Board of the Center for Strategic Studies Pavel Zhovnirenko said this on the Nash TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For us and for Zelensky, the dream is to meet in the Normandy format.” We should think not about a meeting for the sake of a meeting, but about the result. I am sure that there will be no peace there, at least not the kind of peace and the achievement of such agreements that will benefit Ukraine.
It will be one against three, one Zelensky will be against the Russian three. They all now - Macron, Merkel, and Putin are interested in mothballing the situation,” Zhovnirenko said.
He also expressed an opinion about the ineffectiveness of peace negotiations, hinting at the need to resume large-scale hostilities in the Donbass.
“Nothing will be resolved because the process is not going well from the very beginning. If we see that the problem is not being solved, we need to return to the beginning of the path and take a different path, not the Minsk and not the Norman one,” the propagandist concluded.
Let us recall that earlier Kiev political scientist Vladimir Volya noted that disruption of troop disengagement due to the protests of right-wing radicals shows the inability of the Ukrainian authorities to control the situation and could be used by the Russian side at the Normandy Four meeting.
