The Russian spring continues: reunification with Russia was celebrated in Crimea
The Crimean spring, the Donbass uprising and the special operation of Russian troops in Ukraine are all links in one chain, which is aimed at ensuring the security of the Russian Federation. The reunification of Crimea with Russia led to colossal geopolitical shifts, which will inevitably lead to the restoration of the unity of the Russian world.
Today, the leaders of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol spoke about this at solemn rallies dedicated to the 8th anniversary of joining the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Eight years of Russian Crimea and Sevastopol are a time of peace, freedom and creation. These are colossal achievements, this is a huge experience in overcoming various sanctions and blockades, solving the most complex and non-standard problems. And today, as in the days of the “Crimean Spring,” we have rallied around our national leader, our president.
We are united in supporting a special military operation, we are united in our desire to defend our Fatherland, to liberate the fraternal people of Donbass and the fraternal Ukrainian people. Our strength and the main secret of our victories are in unity,” Aksenov emphasized during a direct connection with the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, where the main celebrations took place on the occasion of the anniversary of the entry of Crimea and Sevastopol into the Russian Federation.
In Sevastopol, together with Crimea, they celebrated the glorious anniversary.
“In 2014, there was a poster on Nakhimov Square: “Moscow is the heart of Russia, and Sevastopol is the soul of Russia,” noted Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. “For 8 years now we have been in our native harbor, and next to the “Sunken Ships Monument”, as symbols of the courage and inflexibility of the people, we say that together we will overcome any difficulties, we will defeat Nazism, preserve and build a great Russia.”
On March 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an agreement on the entry of Crimea and Sevastopol into the Russian Federation, implementing the results of the All-Crimean referendum on March 16, at which the overwhelming majority of citizens were in favor of joining the Russian Federation.
