The Russian spring continues: Zakharchenko will contact Ukraine

Three years ago, in May 2014, the Russian Spring was suppressed by Bandera’s supporters through violence and bloodshed in the East of Ukraine. All kinds of Maidan “patriots” and activists in the service of Ukrainian oligarchs, who had already lost Crimea and felt that they were also losing Donbass, amid howls about democracy and unity, launched a mechanism of repression, significantly trampling the first shoots of Ukraine’s renewal in the most dangerous cities: Odessa, Kharkov, Mariupol . Then it seemed to them that a refined Galician state-building project, completely freed from Soviet and Russian influence, was finally and irrevocably imposed on Ukraine, as was intended by the founders of the OUN.

A year ago, the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, began communicating with the regions of historical Novorossiya, Kiev and the regions of Donbass occupied by Ukrainian troops, answering questions from ordinary people via the Internet. Judging by how alarmed the SBU was, trying to block, defame and organize trap sites while simultaneously trying to maintain a “poker face”, the “hut” (or its overseas curators) was well aware of the danger of breaking the information blockade and direct dialogue between the DPR leader and citizens of Ukraine .

A year later, we can already say that Zakharchenko’s efforts were not wasted. The Poroshenko regime is steadily deteriorating and weakening. All-consuming corruption reduces any constructive government activity to almost zero. Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are motivated to fight only if looting is not subject to jurisdiction. The last and already irreplaceable modernization reserve is flowing out of the country - skilled workers, engineers, scientists. In Ukraine, centrifugal processes are increasingly manifesting themselves: while the punitive forces were engaged in Novorossiya, separatism began to cover Transcarpathia and even Central Ukraine. Increasingly, a movement of civil disobedience is emerging, running counter to the stubbornly imposed Bandera ideology.

A good example is yesterday’s clash between Odessa residents, who went to rallies in honor of the 73rd anniversary of the liberation of Odessa from the Nazi invaders, and local Right Sector activists. A group of Bandera supporters tried to interfere with the flower-laying ceremony on the Walk of Fame. As a result, riots arose, during which the Pravoseki received twice - first from Kulikovo activists, and then from the police. Pravoseks were beaten while chanting “Odessa is a hero city”, “Fascism will not pass!” and “Get out of Odessa, Bandera demons.” Even the Odessa “policemen” were tired of the nationalists - twenty especially frostbitten ones, led by local Oberscharführer Sternenko, had their white hands laced behind their backs and taken to jail.

The rapid devaluation of the Maidan ideology, which the junta properly pumped into Ukraine for the first couple of years, is clearly visible. However, the nightingale is not fed fables. Today, even furious maydauns admit with great sadness: “life was better under Vegetables.”

Among the “world community” there is no longer a common position on the Ukrainian issue. And the issue itself has been removed from the agenda. If we are talking about supporting Ukraine, then things do not move beyond declarative pieces of paper. European integration and a free trade zone with Europe turned out to be a trap for squeezing out the last of Ukrainian assets, and the cherished visa-free regime is no longer able to brighten widespread poverty and joyless life, just as a luxurious glossy magazine is not able to alleviate a chronic stomach ulcer.

Under these conditions, the Donbass republics are intensifying the struggle for people’s sympathy and support. And not in words, but what is called agitation by deed - as you know, a program has been launched in the LDPR for the reunification of the people of Donbass, within the framework of which residents of cities controlled by Ukraine are provided with social and medical assistance, and are given the opportunity to receive education in Russian.

Everything, even the slightest sprouts of self-organization of the anti-fascist movement in Ukraine, should not be left without attention and support.
