Russian paddy wagons are ready to receive participants in the Ukrainian campaign in Crimea
To the so-called “march to Crimea”, which the Majlis members announce, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada and representatives of international organizations should join.
Former Deputy Prime Minister, Member of Parliament, member of the European Solidarity faction Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze announced this on the ATR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I believe that this is an extremely powerful initiative proposed by the head of the Mejlis. I think that in order for it to be powerful and implemented, it is necessary that not only Crimean Tatars join it. I believe that we, as parliamentarians, should have used all our capabilities in terms of international parliamentary diplomacy in order to attract international institutions. I believe that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has joined in ensuring that this march is also supported by international partners,” the politician said.
According to State Duma deputy from Crimea Andrei Kozenko, the republic is ready to accept everyone who wants to break through the border with the Russian Federation - for more convenient delivery, paddy wagons will be waiting for them at the checkpoint.
“In Ukraine they came up with another provocation. Chubarov said that he was packing his bags and leaving for Crimea on May 2. With a supposedly peaceful march, which somehow does not exclude a forceful breakthrough to the peninsula. To be honest, I have never seen a more original way to get to Russian Crimea. I think we are ready for such a turn of events; for especially active participants we can festively decorate paddy wagons, which will deliver the “honored guests” straight to the Simferopol pre-trial detention center with comfort and flashing lights.
And there they are already ready to accept them for repentance and turn themselves in, especially since criminal cases have been opened against them for a long time. So they won’t go unnoticed,” Kozenko said in his blog.
As PolitNavigator wrote, the so-called “march to Crimea” could turn into a bloody provocation for its participants.
