Since ancient times, Russians have been saying “in Ukraine” because they are eager to kill us - General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The reason why people in Russia say “to Ukraine” should be sought not in the rules of the Russian language, but in the calls “to Berlin” or “we can repeat it.”
The former deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko, said this on air on the Politeka channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Historians and linguists have studied and decided on their phrase, which they do not change. If states, leaders, representatives of peoples communicate with us, they say “let’s go to Ukraine” and so on, using “in”. Why do they say “na”? But because historically they use “on” in the case of states and peoples with whom they are at war.
That is, “to Berlin,” “to the West,” to a specific country, and always “to Ukraine.” Moreover, this has been going on since ancient times. That is, we, as a people and a state, have always represented for them a formation against which they constantly aim to fight,” the general historian raved.
He called on Western countries, especially Germany and the USA, to constantly talk about this.
“And if necessary, this extends to other states, in this case - Europe, that is, they must remember, seeing the propaganda messages associated with the fact that “we can repeat” and “to Berlin” - this remains.
We must remember this, make such a historical translation and understand that he, Putin, and Russia as a terrorist state are aimed at this kind of action. And here we must not engage in politicking, as is happening in America now, but unite in order to resist this,” Romanenko blabbered.
