“The best-selling information security products in the United States are Kaspersky products. Everything is small there and in volume. The same story is in cryptography and the famous quantum teleportation,” Apokin said.
Political scandals during the last election campaign in the United States also contributed to the growth of Russia's authority in this industry.
“Our partners help us confirm this brand by promoting the story about Russian hackers. Any company that includes the word “hacker” in its name will establish itself as a brand if it convinces that famous Russian hackers are behind it. These are new markets and technological development,” Apokin said.
