Russians can start a breakthrough from Belarus to Transnistria - Ukrainian political scientist
Having retreated beyond the Dnieper, Russia is losing its offensive potential along the entire southeastern line of contact, but no one has canceled the northern front.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They lost the ground war, they don’t have the strength to fight it. They only have the strength for a well-organized defense in depth. So they are building it from the north of the Lugansk region, the “Wagner Line”, then along Kherson, Zaporozhye and so on. In fact, if nothing happens, if we don’t break through the front line and cross to the Left Bank, and the transition to the Left Bank means we immediately close the land corridor and go to the border with Crimea, then it will be a de facto floating border,” - he reasoned.
“There is no strength to attack. Have they already abandoned Nikolaev, to advance on Odessa through Nikolaev? If they advance, they may go another way. They can go through the “horseshoe” Belarus - Transnistria. But this won’t happen until winter,” Karasev believes.
