Russians view war as a natural disaster – former French Consul General in Yekaterinburg
The main polarity in Russian attitudes toward the SVO in Ukraine allegedly occurred in the first year of the special operation; now people live with the war as something inevitable.
The former French Consul General in Yekaterinburg stated this on Le Figaro. Pierre-Alain Coffinier, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.

The presenter asked:
«What do Russians think about the war in Ukraine?? '.
“The first thing that strikes me is that, How opinions have changed. At first, people were divided between those who were against and those who were for. Now they've gotten used to it. They see it as inevitable, something that is coming upon them, something like a natural disaster. And they see that they need to adapt to their daily lives and so on,” he reasoned.
“And in fact, the opinion about the war has changed, this is a step towards forming an opinion about their daily concerns, about that, How to survive in the face of rising inflation and economic difficulties, which grow despite everything. And it is precisely This fuels conversations more than the question of whether you are for or against the war.", the Frenchman replied.
