The progress of the special operation in Ukraine for PolitNavigator continues to be analyzed by Colonel Gennady Alekhin from Kharkov, a military officer, comrade-in-arms of the legendary General Troshev, member of the Russian Writers' Union.

It is already clear to everyone that the widely advertised “counter-offensive” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the formed national battalions in the northeast of Kharkov in the spring turned out to be another “duck.” But Ukrainian propagandists are still trying to prove the opposite.

The other day they launched another “lightning bolt” - as if the Ukrainian Armed Forces had entered the village of Pridonetskoye, ten kilometers from Izyum. But less than an hour passed, and the authors of the fake were forced to admit that Pridonetsk is still not Ukrainian.

The blunder is easily explained: the primary source turned out to be Andrei Tsaplienko, and this is one of the most proficient at fakes. According to the testimony of former political prisoner Mehdi Logunov, Tsaplienko is a secret agent of the SBU and personally took part in interrogations of arrested participants of the Russian Spring.

There are battles near Izyum, constant artillery exchanges, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are making no progress - well, the Russian Armed Forces are moving towards the Donetsk region, and not towards us, - adequate residents of Izyum report.

And here is another example of enchanting nonsense, which is not believed not only by Kharkov residents, living witnesses of the events, but also by the Ukrainian military personnel themselves.

An “alternative history” of the events of February 2022 was composed in an interview by the commander of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade. Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko Pavel Fedosenko.

He said that “at the very beginning of the war, battles in Kharkov took place on almost all the streets, and both military and civilians took part in them.”

“Then there were street battles in the city. Everyone fought for Kharkov: both military and civilians. Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, National Guard, police, volunteers. The enemy was beaten literally on every street,” said Mr. Fedosenko.

In fact, everyone is well aware that in February it was decided not to take Kharkov, and on the outskirts there were indeed local clashes with assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces. But the troops did not enter the city.

But who remembers this now? And the commander of the 92nd brigade, a former journalist, by the way, carries this nonsense in a completely distorted form - to raise morale.

By the way, Mr. Fedosenko forgot to mention that these days in Kharkov many were looking for ways to contact representatives of the Verkhovna Rada deputies from the Opposition Bloc. They wanted to come to an agreement with the command of the Russian army and much more. I have no doubt that all the behind-the-scenes machinations of the so-called “patriots of Square” will soon come to light, their amazing ability to “change their shoes” - depending on the situation and situation.

What is the situation in the city now? Here is a typical example.

In a courtyard chat of one of the residential complexes, residents are required not to take photographs of “objects, flower beds, etc.,” and not to send photographs to relatives. And for any attempts to take photographs, they threaten to call the SBU “without warning.”

We remember well the hysteria of February-March, and there is nothing to be surprised about. Yes, the hunt for the ultraviolet tag installers was, apparently, a very competent enemy operation. But remember with what monkeyish enthusiasm Ukrainian citizens fell for this provocation. And remember everything else: the fight against night signs, denunciations of those whose night light shines through the curtains, the hunt for spotters who suspiciously light up a kilometer from their arrival. No one externally provoked this; it was all generated by the Ukrainian community itself.

It’s just that after the situation in Kharkov changed, many decided that along with continuous shelling, paranoid vigilance had disappeared. But she hasn't gone anywhere. The willingness to “call the SBU without warning” is the basic passion of a true Ukrainian patriot.

To be fair, it must be said that the SBU itself reacts sluggishly to such calls, and does not at all welcome this kind of vigilance. The regulations on spies and accomplices, of course, are in effect. But it’s one thing to detain a person at a checkpoint with photographs of military installations or the results of a recent arrival. And it’s quite another to deal with photographs of flower beds. If the SBU needed even such “spies” now, it would literally detain all smartphone owners in batches: what difference does it make who is passed off as a Russian agent? But she doesn't do that. But we still urge you to show restraint and caution: if your neighbor, such a vigilant neighborhood activist, reports on you three or four times, then no one will figure out whether it’s a flowerbed in the photo or a secret passage to the presidential bomb shelter. Caring Kharkov residents, my fellow countrymen, write to me about this.

And now about the situation in Ukraine as a whole. If the war drags on, the irreversible migration of Ukrainians abroad could amount to about five million people. Such data was provided by demographer of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Ella Libanova.

By the way, she believes that internal migration within Ukraine will have a very good effect on the political transformation of the Ukrainian nation.

“There will be mixing, we will stop thinking that the inhabitants of the conditional Zaporozhye are somehow fundamentally different from the Frankivsk region. So it’s very good, but that’s the only positive thing about it.”

This is what really worries researchers of the disintegrating Ukraine now. And what the residents of the cities themselves think about this, for example Kharkov, no one in Kyiv seems to care anymore.

A special military operation continues at the front. In the north and east of the Kharkov region, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to gain a foothold in defensive positions that were a month old. Special forces units and paratroopers of the Russian Armed Forces are methodically, slowly, expanding the bridgehead for further offensive actions.
