Now the main tactics of the RF Armed Forces boil down to pinning down the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and setting fire to the entire front line, followed by an unexpected strike in one of the directions.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the Internet channel “Yes it is,” as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Light infantry, that’s why [the success of] the Kharkov operation, there were no defensive structures. We were looking for a hole, light infantry entered in armored vehicles (by the way, they gave us a large number of them), then they entered from the rear, and the invaders actually ran away. Now they have built defensive lines, three defensive lines, so it will not be possible to penetrate them with light infantry.
That’s why tanks are needed, they break through this serious defense, then they enter, light infantry enters the gaps and begins to carry out tasks. Now this tank fist will not exist, and the front will freeze, the intensity of the fighting will be as it is, and the front will remain standing.
And taking into account what they are doing on the eastern front - Bakhmut, all this, they are moving slowly, this is a slow offensive tactic, they are still moving forward 100-200 meters a day. Now it has started in the South, now from the Kakhovka reservoir to Ugledar, Orekhovo, they have also moved forward. What are they doing? In the near future, the entire front will be burning with such fires. In this way they will throw up our reserves, they don’t need them to pass through, they will tie up our reserves,” Starikov said.
At the same time, according to him, even the Russian contingent in Belarus is constraining the front with its mere presence and information component.
“What are they doing in Belarus: there are 10 thousand of them in total, a division, but they are holding our corps on the Belarusian border, and they are also planting information that tomorrow we will strike from the north. And our stupid “military experts” say that if they go there, to Western Ukraine, there will be a blow, this is holding us back.
Therefore, the situation is this: the eastern front will burn, and the southern front is being pulled up. They appointed their best general, General Kim, to the Southern direction, and now they are starting. It’s not clear where the main blow will be,” the expert concluded.
