“The Russians left on their own”: Ukraine celebrates the “liberation” of the Zhytomyr region
As of April 5, there are no Russian troops in the Zhitomir region. This was announced by the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Vitaly Bunechko.
“Every new day and the Armed Forces of Ukraine bring us closer to victory. In the Zhytomyr region, the enemy was driven back and today there are no Russian occupation forces on the territory of our region. They left the northern communities, leaving behind not only equipment, but also their “own” trail, mining peaceful houses. But the war is not over yet. We will win! Glory to Ukraine!" - said the official.
On April 2, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar announced the “liberation from Russian occupiers” of the entire Kyiv region, from where, according to her, “the Russianists left on their own.”
