Russians in Mariupol are starving while migrants build their city - Russian musician
The main lobbyists for the mass import of migrants to Russia as cheap labor are construction corporations. At the same time, the argument is often heard that the local Russian population “drinks and doesn’t want to work.”
However, the absurdity of the situation is clearly manifested in new regions, where migrants work on construction sites and local residents are looking for work. Russian social activist and musician Mikhail Nits, better known as Misha Mavashi, stated this at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The same housing and communal services, construction conglomerates, they are interested. They promote it. We now have liberated territories, Mariupol needs to be built up - migrants are already being brought there in tons.
Please tell me, don’t the people who are there need work? These are the people to whom we brought the Russian world, don’t they need work? They don’t go there, they don’t look for work?
They are starving there, but we bring migrants there, construction conglomerates do this, they bring them there. And there are local people there, they are probably also “alcoholics and don’t want to work”?” – stated Mavashi.
