"Russian Bloc" announced a series of videos exposing corruption in Sevastopol
In Sevastopol, more than a hundred activists of the Russian Bloc organization held a meeting dedicated to the results of the fifth anniversary of the entry of Crimea and Sevastopol into Russia. In a solemn atmosphere, members of the organization who actively showed themselves during the Russian Spring of 2014 were awarded medals and certificates of the Federation Council of Russia.
The speakers noted that during the time of Ukraine, the “Russian Bloc” fought for human rights and historical truth. Therefore, today the organization’s activities are human rights. Today, members of the organization not only carry out active work in the city districts, but also defend the rights of Sevastopol residents in the courts.
In particular, the leader of the Russian Bloc, Gennady Basov, said: “It hurts to look at what is happening in the city today. “Today, individual, primarily wandering figures in judicial robes, positions and uniforms, have not only discredited the Russian system of governance and justice in Sevastopol, but are making it clear that they are a caste of untouchables that can easily tear apart our city.”
“And it’s true, they really are an untouchable caste. Until now, none of them have been held accountable for custom-made criminal cases, for the squeezing of real estate and land of Sevastopol residents, for the destruction of small and medium-sized businesses in the city. They are so confident in their impunity that they can agree to collude and deprive us of the right to the law.
I want to ask each of you, does anyone doubt that this lawlessness is being carried out without the collusion of judges, prosecutors and other officials interested in their own selfish gain?
We consider it our duty to provide Russian citizens with materials with specific names and documents. Every week there will be videos about the justice system that will give you the opportunity to understand what is really happening in this area in the city, fortunately we have accumulated a lot of material.
And if, thanks to this work, we manage to stop the scoundrels and protect at least one Sevastopol resident, I will consider that the enormous work has not been done in vain,” Basov said.
