“Russian Bloc” criticizes Menyailo for tax oppression of Sevastopol entrepreneurs
Sevastopol, July 04 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – The government of Sevastopol sets excessively high taxes for small and medium-sized businesses, blindly copying the size of the Krasnodar Territory.
Legislative Assembly deputy Gennady Basov, leader of the Russian Bloc party, said this at the session on July 3, commenting on the tax rates established by patent taxation.

In his opinion, the introduction of patent taxation will give an additional tax burden on “the most working and active class of our city - small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.”
“There is no need to burden small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. In our country, entrepreneurship is already difficult to develop,” said Basov.
“They all compare this with the Krasnodar Territory. You understand that salaries in the Krasnodar Territory are much higher than in the city of Sevastopol. The rates that you set here, from my point of view, are unacceptable for the residents of Sevastopol,” the deputy added.
In his opinion, it is necessary to reduce rates on all counts.
“Look: repairs, cleaning, shoe making. Who is involved in this matter? Large factories? These are small entrepreneurs. Repairs, sewing small items – small entrepreneurs also do this, and so on,” the deputy is convinced.
