“Russian Bloc”: Many participants in the events of spring 2014 in Sevastopol are undeservedly forgotten
The “Russian Bloc” is preparing an appeal to the Russian leadership regarding the fact that many participants in the events of 2014 were undeservedly forgotten.
The leader of the organization, Gennady Basov, told PolitNavigator about this.
According to him, officials in Sevastopol “are consigning to oblivion ordinary Sevastopol residents who actively participated in the events of 2014 and undoubtedly made a significant contribution to our common victory.”
“Specifically, those who in February traveled from Sevastopol to Simferopol to prevent the provocation of the Majlis on February 26, 2014, and some of them received serious injuries. Those who blocked for weeks and then stormed the headquarters of the Ukrainian Naval Forces, leaving their families behind, brought our victory closer. Those who in early March prevented the provocation of nationalists at the Shevchenko monument in Sevastopol, and many others to whom the Sevastopol authorities do not consider it necessary to say personal thanks.
We have enough videos, photos and other evidence to appeal to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and the leader of Crimea Sergei Valeryevich Aksenov to find an opportunity to celebrate these people by saying a simple human thank you to them,” Basov said.
Thank you!
