“Russian Bloc”: New deputies of Sevastopol began work with laws that impoverish the townspeople
Sevastopol, October 21 (PolitNavigator, Svetlana Ivanova) - The Law “On Transport Tax”, adopted by the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol, is another blow to the pockets of citizens.
The leader of the Russian Bloc party, Gennady Basov, told PolitNavigator about this.

Let us remind you that the previous composition of the City Council of the previous convocation refused to adopt the law on the transport tax, but the new deputies introduced the tax in the first reading as one of the first decisions.
“When I see the slogan “Thank you for your trust, we started working,” and the way they started working, this is a very bad sign from the current composition of the legislative assembly,” Basov said.
He believes that tax rates in the city are significantly higher than in other regions of Russia (for example, in the Chechen Republic) and are prohibitively high in the conditions of the economically weak new region of the Russian Federation, which is Sevastopol.
“We have significantly lower wages and pensions, worse social security than in Russian regions, and the minimum wage and cost of living are the lowest in all of Russia,” Basov lists.
The leader of the “Russian Bloc” believes that “it is necessary to create conditions for ordinary Sevastopol residents during the transition and “post-transition” periods” to adapt to the new state.
