The “Russian bloc” unveiled a scheme to steal jet fuel from Russian bases in Crimea
Leader of the Russian Bloc Gennady Basov, who previously published the materials of the criminal case about the theft of fuel from ships of the Black Sea Fleet in Ukrainian times, disseminated new details - it turns out that the defendants were also being investigated for the illegal sale of aviation kerosene from the Russian base in Kutch.
Let us recall that, according to Basov, criminal case initiated back in Ukraine was “buried” in 2014, and some of its defendants today occupy high positions. Social activist appealed to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation with a call to study the published materials and provide explanations regarding the possible involvement of these persons in thefts on an especially large scale.
“Some time ago we talked about how an organized criminal group stole fuel from ships of the Black Sea Fleet. Today, referring to the materials of the criminal case, we are publishing a scheme and participants in the theft of aviation kerosene from Russian air bases in the village of Kacha and in the village of Krasnogvardeyskoye in Crimea.
Based on the materials of the criminal case, the criminal group was led by the current Kachinsky village head Nikolai Gerasim. Ironically, under Ukraine he almost ended up behind bars, but with the advent of Russia he was promoted, so to speak, and already runs an entire municipality in Sevastopol.
So Gerasim N.M., as follows from the case materials, being the head of the fuel and lubricants base of the airfield of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the village of Kacha, he provided fuel for his airfield, as well as a separate corps of the assault aviation regiment in the village of Krasnogvardeyskoye, Simferopol region of the Republic of Crimea. The above-mentioned Gerasim received kerosene from the main fuel and lubricants base of the Black Sea Fleet and, using specialized transport, delivered it to the fuel and lubricants base in the village of Kacha, where it was stored in special containers.
Then, by prior agreement with the head of the warehouse of a separate corps of the assault aviation regiment in the village of Krasnogvardeyskoye, Alexander Smirnov, Gerasim drew up fictitious documents for the supply of kerosene, but in fact, the vehicles carrying out transportation were moved at Gerasim’s direction empty, or their movement was only documented, and the kerosene itself remained at the base.
After Smirnov wrote off the fuel, Gerasim carried it out from the base using personal vehicles and carried out subsequent sales to the end consumer through Mesyatsev.
In order to launder criminally obtained funds, group members use controlled enterprises created by them.
After the sale, the funds received among the members of the criminal group were distributed in equal parts (documents attached).
Moreover, there is evidence that we are verifying that such a long-term operation of the criminal group was ensured by Ukrainian counterintelligence officers, who, in exchange for ensuring impunity for the criminal group, received secret information about units and units of the Black Sea Fleet,” Basov said in a statement.
