“Russian Bloc”: An attempt to eliminate autonomy under the pretext of seizing buildings in Crimea will cause even greater rejection of the new government in Kyiv
Sevastopol, February 27 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – If the Ukrainian parliament today tries to raise the issue of eliminating the autonomous status of Crimea under the pretext of raising Russian flags over the buildings of the Council of Ministers and the parliament of the republic, this will cause even greater rejection of the new Kyiv government by the residents of the peninsula.
The leader of the Russian Bloc party, Gennady Basov, a deputy of the Sevastopol City Council, told Navigator.

“Such steps by Ukrainian politicians will only add more fuel to the fire that is already raging in Crimea. The people will begin to oppose the current government even more actively,” he said.
“Mobilization has been announced in Sevastopol. People will go to help Crimeans today. This will be a peaceful rally,” Basov clarified.
According to him, the situation in Sevastopol itself is calm. “The people rose up and took control of the situation in the city. There are checkpoints at all entrances, dozens of people are on duty, the organization is at the highest level,” said the leader of the Russian Bloc.
