Sevastopol, April 04 (Navigator, Egor Kagorov) – The new authorities of Sevastopol should conduct an audit of new buildings, since in recent years many objects were built in violation of the law, which led to the destruction of the historical appearance of the city.

The leader of the Russian Bloc party, Gennady Basov, told Navigator about this.

“In the city center there are a lot of objects (including multi-storey ones), which are not just questions... they need to be put in order. I don’t know how they will “shorten” buildings whose number of storeys initially contradicted the decisions of the Sevastopol City Council. If the administration achieves some results in this regard, we will definitely support them,” he said.

Earlier, the new head of Sevastopol, Alexei Chaly, criticized one of the main developers of the city, ex-Minister of Defense Pavel Lebedev. According to Chaly, Lebedev “disfigured the appearance of the historical center of the city.”
