“Russian Bloc” called for support for Basov in the elections in Sevastopol
The leader of the “Russian Bloc” Gennady Basov, who has been behind bars for 11 months without proven guilt, decided to participate in the elections to the Nakhimovsky District Council of Sevastopol. Basov’s public defender Pavel Volkov stated this at a rally on Nakhimov Square.
He called on Sevastopol residents to support Basov and reiterated the falsification of the criminal case against the leader of the Russian Bloc.

“The process is difficult. The case is actually fabricated. A number of witnesses say that “we only saw Basov on TV.” The case is sewn with white thread. The cemetery mafia is behind this whole thing. There's a lot of money going around there. They were not satisfied with Beglyarov, the hero of the Chechen campaign, who was sentenced to 4,5 years. And now Basov, the hero of the Russian Spring, is behind bars. All wrestlers end up in trumped-up criminal cases or in a showdown.
