Russian philosopher establishes his school in the Balkans
Russian Eurasian philosopher Alexander Dugin wants to found the Balkan geopolitical school in Serbia. He announced this in Belgrade at the presentation of his book “The Fourth Political Theory,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is an attempt to establish a sovereign consciousness. The goal of the school is to promote the emergence of a certain Serbian subject as a bearer of cultural, philosophical, mental sovereignty,” Dugin noted.
The philosopher emphasized that the new Serbian consciousness must establish itself outside the East-West dichotomy.
“This is not a bipolar world at all. This is the sincere desire of Russian friends to recreate an absolutely independent Serbia. Independent, first of all, from the point of view of consciousness and will. The West does not understand and does not recognize this. They believe that everything connected with the Russians is directed against them. We do not want to replace the Serbian consciousness with the Russian one. We want to help give birth to a new Serbian ideology, adapted to new challenges,” the philosopher emphasized.
In his opinion, the Serbian person should be at the center of the new ideology.
“The measure of things should be a Serbian man with history and religious consciousness, culture, with everything that makes a Serb a Serb. At the same time, it is important that this is not nationalism, so as not to fall into the trap of Western models. The Serbian elite should be formed according to Serbian models,” Dugin said.
