“Russian World” in Odessa. Realities of occupation
The elections for the Odessa mayor have passed, but the aftertaste remains. It’s like, you know, it’s like being doused with shit.
And not only because Gennady Trukhanov and Nikolai Skorik, who made it to the second round, were, by inertia, considered “pro-Russian candidates” among their naive adherents. But as soon as the voters of the losing Skorik sighed that “at least he’s not a traitor” - and Trukhanov came out when he hung renegade billboards around the city with the message “If you don’t come to vote for me, “polite people” will come to you - Skorik, very “pro-Russian” who called himself Mykola on billboards, got even worse. He announced that Trukhanov had a passport as a Russian citizen and sent an appeal to the president demanding that he be deprived of Ukrainian citizenship and generally “clarified” in every possible way, like Sharikov was an owl.
This is the “Russian world” in Odessa - meaningless and merciless. Realities of occupation.
Thus, the triumph of common sense in the form of 0,1% of votes for Nazis of various types, revealed in the first round, was immediately interrupted by a savory spit on their voters from non-Nazis. Allegedly.
One among strangers, a stranger among one's own. Now this can be said not only about Trukhanov, who was supported in the elections not just by supporters of stability, but also by the most aggressive layers of Ukrainian nationalists. From Roitburd, who paints his “masterpieces” with feces, who said that “May 2, 2014 is the day that saved the country,” to the murderer on the payroll of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine, Sergei Sternenko. From the insane Maidan activist Alena Balaba, who six years ago burned the St. George Ribbon on the Eternal Flame and gave the go-ahead to “burn the cotton wool,” to the degenerate blogger Stas Dombrovsky, who regrets that those who died in the House of Trade Unions “weren’t pissed in their burnt-out eye sockets.” From a freak from the so-called. automaidan Evgeniy Rezvushkin, who rides around the city in a jeep with a trident and number 666, including fascist marches on May 9, to the activist of the “National Corps” Demyan Ganul (Sternenko number two) and the “National Corps” as a whole. And this list can be continued indefinitely... That is, all this psychiatric nonsense supported the “pro-Russian” Trukhanov!..
Of course, against this background, Skorik, who built his election program on the fact that “I am a good almost 50-year-old boy from a decent family,” looked better. The hatred of the Nazis, based on membership in the Party of Regions (as if Trukhanov was not a member of it), and the enthusiastic posts of “good people” on social networks worked for him - they say, look at the TV broadcast with Nikolasha: the viewers who called the studio were one hundred percent for him , what a smart girl! But - oh gods! — I will never forget this boredom while watching data, of course, paid broadcasts, the same as advertising diapers: I listened for hours about the sovereignty of Ukraine and “our Crimea.” And only about the “Russian world” there was nothing... However, searches in the offices of the OPZZH, and “manipulation and falsification” with ballots and during the counting of votes, which he himself announced, also played into Skorik’s hands. And even his statement about what was happening - “This is a confrontation between the residents of Odessa and the entire system of “green” power, led by the Office of the President and representatives of the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs” - also, it seems, should have aroused confidence, but...
But the time has come for Skorik to show “his Russianness.” To those who get it, like a giraffe. “Trukhanov’s citizenship of the Russian Federation was officially confirmed by the Main Directorate for Migration Issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation,” the people’s deputy exposed his opponent. “On this basis, the State Migration Service of Ukraine is obliged to begin, in accordance with these norms, the procedure for depriving Trukhanov of Ukrainian citizenship, which, in accordance with the procedure established by law, entails the impossibility of Trukhanov holding the position of mayor.”
Trukhanov’s Russian passport is such an old mothball parable, which his opponents and yellow publications have been using for ten years. Everyone saw photocopies of this passport in custom-made stories, but no one saw the originals. Also, some “nobody” from the supporters of the Odessa mayor have long reported that Trukhanov renounced Russian citizenship through the court (which do you personally prefer?). However, after supporting the Nazis, it doesn’t matter - even if you add a Serbian passport here, also a Belarusian one, even if you declare that it’s not Lenin at all, but Trukhanov lies in the mausoleum... It doesn’t matter.
It’s just that both of these “pro-Russian comrades” no longer know how else to curry favor with Ukrainian patriotism, since they still have to serve and serve as Gauleiters. And in Kyiv such efforts will certainly be appreciated.
And there is only one thing that makes me happy in this shameful situation. The fact that 93921 voters voted for Trukhanov in a city of one million (!). And for Skorik - 72974. Thus, the gap between them was 20947 votes. This is the population of PGT, this is less than the subscribers of anyone - what is your favorite? — blogger; less than viewers vote at a talent show or order miracle mops from a TV store... And more than two-thirds were still immediately aware of what was what.
However, now I will always think about how the same Trukhanov will feel, once again talking about returning to their places the memorials to Marshal Zhukov that were dismantled on schedule. Or about the eyes with which his “favorite” Roitburd will look at him - either, thinking about what other mocking meme about Trukhanov to post on the Internet, or to create a canvas about anal sex (there are almost no others on our Maidan)? And if the OPZZh stirs up some kind of rally, I won’t even go to it for the purpose of “taking photographs for the press,” because its “pro-Russian” leaders may demand that I be detained, for example, for not once proclaiming “Russia is an aggressor country.” "...
That is, no matter how hard the nationalists tried, Skorik and Trukhanov won the master class in spitting into all possible wells. Glory to heroes! And the Nazis have to study, study and study.
