The publication, citing some insider sources from Reuters, reports that Russia has deployed a special forces group of 22 people in Egypt, near the Libyan border. They say that special forces were sent to support the commander-in-chief of the Libyan armed forces, Khalifa Haftar, who “passed the Moscow castings.”

The publication does not provide any evidence other than the unfounded statements of Reuters; it says that no one confirmed the information announced in Moscow, but nevertheless the weekly comes to the opposite conclusions.

“Summarizing what has been said, we state that the “little green men” finally crawled to Egypt. Their formal status does not matter much. Russians can simply lie, or they can operate with formalized half-truths. For example, it is possible that this team is listed on paper as amateur football players of some provincial club, and that they - again on paper - came to the Libyan border to play football.

The mysticism of the number 22 suggests exactly this idea. It is possible that they really do not serve in the Russian army, at least at the present time. And, for example, they came to Egypt on vacation, to relax, to play, and at the same time to resolve some military issues. Or they left the army altogether and are now employees of PMCs, for example, Wagner’s or someone else’s. Why shouldn't PMCs get their own football club? In the future, it will also be a song and dance ensemble named after. Richard Wagner, for example. It may also be that they are not citizens of Russia at all, but were hired by Wagner already in Egypt, and with DPR or LPR passports,” states “Business Capital.

As PolitNavigator reported, in an interview with the Polish Gazeta Wyborcza, German journalist Boris Reitschuster stated that Russian special forces are infiltrating Germany, creates secret units and waits for orders to attack.
