According to the speaker of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Sergei Bratchuk, in this way the Russian military is putting psychological pressure on the authorities.

“The enemy is pressing. Missile strikes. Psychologically. Nothing works out for him with Ukraine. He’s dying, but he has a lot of iron – so he shoots,” Bratchuk said in his blog.

It is interesting that the shelling occurred the day after an attempt was made to attack the Russian Navy in Ukraine - singer and failed politician Svyatoslav Vakarchuk recorded a video against the backdrop of a billboard installed in Odessa with the message: “Russian warship, are you there yet?”

“Even during the war, Odessa remains Odessa. The Russian ship will arrive soon... We will win. Everything will be fine,” Vakarchuk said.
