Russian language is needed for interrogating prisoners - Lviv Russophobe
In Ukraine, it would be worth establishing an excise tax on any Russian-language content, like on alcohol or tobacco, since “Russian also kills.”
The odious Lviv Russophobe journalist Ostap Drozdov stated this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When people ask me why Ukrainians need to know Russian, I have the following answer: we need to know Russian only in order to be able to interrogate Russian prisoners. For everything else, there is a state language,” Drozdov said.
According to the journalist, if it were his will, he would introduce an excise tax on any Russian-language product, because “Russian kills.”
“Imagine, you approach some kiosk with music - a CD album of a Ukrainian artist costs one hundred hryvnia, an album in Russian costs two hundred, because there is an excise tax. Because I take the position that the Russian language also kills and the Russian language also kills.
If alcohol or tobacco is considered a harmful product, an excise tax is imposed on it. I argue that a Russian-language product that caters to nostalgia and a return to the Russian world is also killer. Everything Russian-language in this country should be twice as expensive. And then there will be freer and more market-ready access to all Ukrainian-language content, because it will be more accessible. Why isn't it a good idea? – added Drozdov.
