“This is the first “Russian jog” in the Republic. We are proud that we are residents of Lugansk. And with this run, we once again want to show the public that the youth of our city are here, we are active and we live,” said jogging participant Igor Bibik.
More than 100 people ran along the main streets of Lugansk, from the Avangard stadium to the Komsomol park. At the end of the race, inspired boys and girls loudly and cheerfully chanted “Russian means sober”, “We are Lugansk residents and we are proud of it.”
“Young people are very active, so similar events will still be held in Lugansk,” said youth leader Denis Miroshnichenko.
After completing the race, the guys played a series of sports games - the weaker and stronger sexes competed in endurance, and the race participants also measured their strength by pulling a car with a rope.
