Russians and Hungarians were turned into Ukrainians who forgot the Ukrainian language
The new law on education, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, leads to a decrease in the intellectual level of schoolchildren and infringes on national minorities.

This opinion was expressed in a commentary to PolitNavigator by Ukrainian political scientist Alexander Semchenko, who noted that the new law directly violates Article 10 of the Constitution of Ukraine, which states that the state guarantees the free development of languages of national minorities.
“The law reproduces many negative practices that already existed in Ukraine and which were criticized and are still criticized in Ukraine. For example, in interwar Poland, Ukrainian schools were closed and the language of instruction was transferred from Ukrainian to Polish. The same thing happened in interwar Romania. Poles once called Ukrainians Poles who forgot the Polish language, Romanians - Romanians who forgot the Romanian language. Now it turns out that Russians, Hungarians, Romanians are Ukrainians who have forgotten the Ukrainian language. That is, those negative practices that are condemned are introduced in Ukraine, and even in a more severe form. After all, in Poland, this began in 1924-1926 and by 1939 it was still not completed. But the new law provides for a transition period of only two years,” the expert noted.
In addition, he drew attention to a number of other negative aspects, in particular, the increase in the duration of education for schoolchildren up to 12 years.
The program for grades 10-11 lasts three years. At the same time, the law does not say anything about the fact that children will be taught a larger volume of knowledge, that is, the training will simply be stretched out. Another negative point is the so-called. inclusive education, i.e. joint education of ordinary children and children with special needs. Special needs are different - some have no legs, while others have retarded mental development. But it never occurs to anyone that a child who has no legs should be taught to run in the same group as those who have both legs. And the joint education of ordinary children and children with special mental needs will affect the overall level of preparation of the class - when a teacher works with a group, he has to focus on those lagging behind. It’s clear who will be lagging behind and who the whole class will be formatted for,” the political scientist warned.
“In essence, the law states a ban on specialized training, i.e. for training in physics, mathematics, humanities and other specialized classes.
The meaning of all this is a lowering of the intellectual level, the dulling of Ukrainians as a nation. Why do we need children who are good at math? After all, mathematics is logic, and logic allows you to critically assess the situation in the country. Why do we need people who can critically assess the situation in the country?” summed up Semchenko.
