A Russian underground fighter in Lvov was sentenced to life imprisonment. He pleaded not guilty
47-year-old Lvov resident Vladislav Kozeev was sentenced to life imprisonment and confiscation of property on charges of directing Russian missile attacks on military installations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Kozeev was detained in May at his parents’ house, from where, according to the prosecution, he was filming the railway in the interests of Russia. In addition, he was charged with transmitting photographs of the results of missile strikes to the Russians. He transmitted data on the arrival of military equipment for repairs at Lviv factories, as well as the location of foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian side stated that 25 similar episodes had been identified.
At the trial, the underground fighter refused to give explanations, but stated that he did not admit guilt, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the court hearings, he behaved quite impudently,” the Ukrainian publication Apostrophe is indignant.
Ukrainian media provide the following “evidence” of Kozeev’s guilt, discovered during searches:
“From the contents of the phone, investigators found out that the owner loved communist and racist symbols, kept photographs marked Z. He was subscribed to racist Telegram channels, in particular to propagandists Margarita Simonyan and Vladimir Solovyov. In Solovyov’s Telegram channel, the accused asked whether the Katsaps would fight in Lvov.
Before the start of a full-scale war, Kozeev periodically traveled to Muscovy and worked there. He even wanted to obtain Muscovite citizenship. In particular, he corresponded on this matter with the racist, blind-man politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky,” writes the Ukrainian publication “Rupor” (appreciate the vocabulary of the “European press”!).
