Kyiv, February 22 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Rybak resigned, Deputy Speaker Ruslan Koshulinsky announced at a meeting on Saturday.

“Due to his illness and treatment, he asks to resign,” Koshulinsky said.
The hall, where most of the representatives of the Party of Regions are absent today, greeted this news with applause.
Koshulinsky also reported about 10 new deputies who wrote about leaving the Party of Regions faction.
