Russian Railways is building an expressway between the two largest cities in Serbia
The Russian Railways project to build a high-speed railway in Serbia will be completed this year.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Belgrade Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “International Life,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Some details were clarified. But these are absolutely working moments that did not affect the implementation of the overall plan. It will be completed before the end of the year, we are sure of that. Both the government of the Russian Federation and Russian Railways are well aware of the significance of the implementation of this project for Serbia. This is a deep modernization of infrastructure both in Serbia itself and within the European infrastructure. The Belgrade – Novi Sad road will become part of the Central European railway infrastructure. Russian Railways uses the most modern technologies,” said Botsan-Kharchenko.
Currently, with the participation of Russian Railways, the Serbian railways are being modernized, a modern dispatch center is being created, which will significantly increase the speed and efficiency of transportation.
