Kyiv, June 09 (Navigator, Viktor Orlov) – From July 1, a number of so-called “unpopular measures” previously announced by the government due to a lack of money in the treasury will come into force in Ukraine.
Thus, from July 1, Ukraine will reduce payments for the birth of a second and third child, and will also cancel childcare assistance for children under three years of age.

On the same day, a new property tax for apartments larger than 120 square meters comes into force.
From July 1, the excise tax on alcohol, cigarettes and wine will increase in Ukraine - accordingly, there will be an increase in prices for these goods.
From July 1, the authorities are increasing the price of water. Each region has its own tariffs, but on average the price increases by no less than a third.
From July 1, 2014, income of individuals in the form of interest on bank deposits will be taxed on a progressive scale - at rates of 15-20-25%, depending on the amount of income.
In addition, from July 1, the Ukrainian government will not reimburse heating and utility companies (TKE) for the difference in tariffs.
It is expected that heating tariffs in Ukraine, starting from July 1, will increase by 40%.
