This was reported by the press service of the Unified Transport Directorate.

The catamaran will make its last voyage on August 30 from Yalta to Feodosia.

“Catamarans began plying on this route on June 01, 2014. This decision was made by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation in order to organize the transportation of passengers by sea to the main tourist destinations. Ships sailed daily in both directions. The holiday season has come to an end, the demand for this type of transportation has decreased, so the decision was made to cancel this route,” the message says.

The Sochi-1 catamaran will continue to operate at the Kerch crossing. It will run between the ports of Crimea and Kavkaz until September 30 from 08.00 to 21.00 daily to transport public transport passengers.
