The head of the Pension Fund of the Republic of Crimea, Marina Shcherbina, said this in an interview with the Crimean Pravda newspaper.
»There is no need to apply - the recalculation will be carried out automatically, without any applications from citizens, according to the available documents of pension files, based on the total work experience, by the way, all work experience in Ukraine until March 16, 2014 is equal to the work experience in Russia; salary, status, for example, disability. In this case, the amount of the recalculated pension cannot be less than payments as of December 31, 2014. That is, no one will receive less than now; the recalculation from January 1, 2015 can only be upward,” Shcherbina noted.
According to her, if a citizen has any additional documents about experience and salary, and he wants them to also be taken into account when recalculating, he will be able, starting in January, to contact the federal body - the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation and submit these documents, if they are absent from the current pension file.
“Moreover, it is not necessary to run to the Pension Fund immediately after the New Year holidays: there is a whole year to do this. According to the Federal Law “On the peculiarities of pension provision for citizens of the Russian Federation living in the territories of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the federal city of Sevastopol”, throughout 2015, you can submit an application for appointment (for example, women who have already turned 55, but by Ukrainian standards it was too early for them to retire for retirement) or recalculation of pension. In this case, the assignment or recalculation will be made from January. In other words, if you submit the relevant documents in June, then if the outcome of the case is positive, you will receive money for the previous months,” explained Marina Shcherbina.
Let us remind you that the Pension Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan, created to provide pensions to residents of the peninsula during the transition period, is now being liquidated, and all existing pension files are transferred to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.
