This was stated by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Yuriy Lavrenyuk during a meeting with the Plenipotentiary Minister of the Lithuanian Embassy in Ukraine Gvidas Kerusauskas, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. with reference to the website of the Ukrainian department.
Currently, vehicles engaged in commercial transportation must undergo mandatory technical inspection.
According to him, from next year, in accordance with the provisions of the Geneva Agreement of 1958, EU directives and the requirements of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, all cars entering from Ukraine to EU member countries must have an appropriate vehicle technical inspection coupon.
Also, a technical inspection will be mandatory upon first registration and re-registration of a vehicle.
