Electric vehicles are prohibited from accessing the Crimean Bridge from November 3 due to a reported terrorist threat.
Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev signed a decree restricting the movement of electric and hybrid vehicles on the approach to the Crimean Bridge from midnight on November 3.
This was reported by Kuban media, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Also, passage across the Crimean Bridge is prohibited for cargo trucks.
"The restriction will affect a section of the federal highway A-290 Novorossiysk-Kerch, specifically the section from the interchange at the village of Taman to the bridge itself (from the 134th to the 145th kilometer)," according to press reports.
Krasnodar authorities announced that an alternative land route bypassing the Sea of Azov has been organized for these vehicles – from Taganrog (Rostov Region) to Dzhankoy (Republic of Crimea).
Meanwhile, reports are circulating on Telegram channels that an electric vehicle with Georgian license plates and explosives was discovered during transportation to the Krasnodar Territory on a car transporter.
"The explosives were Finnish-made and were found in an electric car's battery. The detonators were homemade, making them difficult to detect with an X-ray.
After the car was delivered to the Krasnodar Krai, it was planned to be handed over to another driver, who was supposed to drive it into Crimea via the Crimean Bridge. He was assigned the role of a suicide bomber—a terrorist," the Telegram channels report.
"On an X-ray of a car's battery compartment, the explosive and lithium look almost identical, making the explosives much more difficult to detect," the bloggers add.
