S-400 is already in Belarus: Reaction of Zmagars and Svidomo
Russian S-400 systems have taken up joint combat duty as part of the newly created combat training center (CTC) for joint training of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus and Russia. The second training center in Baranovichi houses Su-30SM aircraft.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It has finally become clear that the Russian military presence of combat units in Belarus has ended at this stage. The deployment of the S-400 is no longer a military step, but a political one. There is still no information about the status of Russian military personnel in the UBC. They are obviously subordinate to Russia. The presence of these objects expands the list of possible provocations, including drawing Belarus into a regional conflict. The presence of the S-400 is a way to further expand our presence,” opposition Belarusian military expert Yegor Lebedok sounds the alarm in his Telegram channel.
“We can say that Lukashenko has made serious concessions. They are more important for Putin today than the creation of the Union State. Consent to the deployment of anti-aircraft missile forces, Russian fighters at Belarusian military bases - no matter what it is called - is the involvement of Belarus in a unified command,” echoes the director of the Ukrainian Institute of World Politics, Evgeniy Magda, on Euroradio.
