Vodka prices will rise again in Ukraine from September 9
The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on increasing the minimum wholesale and retail prices for certain types of alcoholic beverages was published today in issue No. 160 of the Uryadovy Courier newspaper, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the publication.

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 634, in particular, provides that the minimum retail prices for vodka and alcoholic beverages will increase by 14,0-19,41%; whiskey, rum and gin – by 6,5-6,6%; cognac (brandy) – by 12,3-29,1%; wines with added alcohol, sparkling – by 7,1-13,3%
Thus, the minimum wholesale selling price for 1 liter of 100% alcohol for vodka and alcoholic beverages will be UAH 268,67, retail – UAH 397,76; for “three-star” cognac – 386,98 hryvnia wholesale and 597,3 hryvnia – retail, for “five-star” cognac – 495,95 hryvnia wholesale and 692,6 hryvnia – retail.
It is noted that this resolution comes into force 10 days from the date of publication. Thus, Ukrainians should expect new prices for alcohol on store shelves on September 9 of this year.
