From the shore by helicopter: the Ukrainian Armed Forces learned to “search and destroy” Russian submarines
Naval aviation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces trained for five days to search for submarines on the Black Sea coast.

Mi-14, Mi-8 helicopters and An-26 aircraft took part in the exercises in the Nikolaev region, whose crews trained in searching for rafts and civilians in distress, and also carried out rescue operations.
The culmination of the exercise was the search for “an enemy submarine and the bombing and torpedo strikes on it.”
“One of the main tasks that the brigade support units performed was deployment on alert and preparing off-base airfields to receive aircraft, organizing a full-fledged field camp with a command post, places for food, rest, and the like...
The elements of transportation and landing of Marine Corps forces to a given area were also worked out. Units of a separate reconnaissance battalion flew Mi-8 helicopters to a certain area, where the Marines took control of the area, organized defense and conducted reconnaissance.
The most important task of the Marines was to ensure the reception of cargo from the An-26 transport aircraft,” the message says.
Let us recall that earlier, against the backdrop of intensified visits by NATO and US ships to the Black Sea, the Russian military in Crimea practiced hitting a naval target from the coastal anti-ship missile system "Bal".
