“With every new law, Ukrainians are deprived of their rights” – Kiev lawyer
The Kiev leadership is gradually but inexorably depriving Ukrainians of their labor rights, taking away their bonuses for overtime and required days off.
Ukrainian lawyer Rostislav Kravets stated this in the video blog of Kyiv journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The studio reported that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law according to which “critically important” Ukrainian enterprises can now, at the discretion of the manager, introduce one day off per week.
“With every new change in labor legislation, Ukrainians are simply deprived of their rights. There were various draft amendments to the Labor Code, which were presented by a citizen with “wrong children” Tretyakov, who simply introduced a ban on the mobilization of deputies after the start of the war under the guise of protecting children. Until February 24, this was not the case; it was already in March, at the instigation of Tretyakova, that they forbade themselves to mobilize.
But Tretyakova is gradually completely destroying any labor rights of Ukrainians. I think this has an extremely negative impact on the country’s economy, and on labor migration when people leave, and, in principle, on the future of Ukraine,” Kravets was indignant.
He emphasized that this would be a huge blow both to the Ukrainian economy and to the mood of the oppressed people.
“Therefore, when employees of strategic enterprises are deprived of days off, this is due to wild mobilization, when many enterprises are not given reservations, they are delayed, and in fact there are not enough workers. But depriving people of one day off is wrong. I believe that this is a huge blow to the economy and national security.
With such successes, we will move not to an eight-hour working day, but to an eighteen-hour one. And, apparently, citizen Tretyakova will welcome and lobby for such interests, which will lead to maximum demoralization of the civilian population as well,” the lawyer concluded.
