Moscow, June 20 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Speaker of the Supreme Council of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” Denis Pushilin said that negotiations with Kiev can only take place through the mediation of Russia or international organizations.

“Poroshenko announced peace plans, humanitarian corridors, the next day we saw buses carrying women and children being fired upon. There can be no negotiations until a peacekeeping contingent is deployed,” Pushilin said during a press conference in Moscow

“We need the first stage to stop women, children, old people, and the wounded from dying,” said the speaker of the DPR Supreme Council, noting that the peacekeeping contingent will be able to at least ensure the delivery of “food and water.”

“A humanitarian catastrophe has already struck Kramatorsk and Slavyansk. The rest of the cities of the DPR and LPR are on the verge. Because food products are deliberately not passed by our enemy. Under various pretexts. Even insulin and medications are not allowed through,” said Pushilin.

“After each of his (Poroshenko – editor’s note) statements, it feels like these attacks are increasing. The ATO is taking on increasingly monstrous consequences,” said one of the DPR leaders.

“Talking to people who are accomplices of fascist actions that lead to genocide is criminal. And it’s inappropriate,” Pushilin noted.

According to him, negotiations can only take place in the presence of mediators: the Russian Federation or other international communities - the UN, OSCE and any others.

According to Pushilin, intermediaries should also act as guarantors. “Kyiv signs whatever it wants, but does not fulfill it, including the Geneva Agreement,” he explained this position.

As Navigator reported, today Petro Poroshenko should present a peace plan to resolve the situation in the East.
