Thus, the court rejected the complaint of the ex-tax officer’s lawyers, and left the decision of the Pechersk Court unchanged, the court’s press service reports.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator reported, Antipov was detained during the implementation of a special operation by the Main Military Prosecutor's Office and the National Police. Together with other ex-tax officials, he is suspected of complicity in a scheme organized by ex-minister Alexander Klimenko to hide taxes from the budget.
In particular, Antipov is accused of causing damage to the state in the amount of about 7 billion UAH. At the same time, the property status of the suspect’s family is estimated at UAH 60 million, which is twenty times higher than their official total income since 1998.
However, Antipov himself denies the accusations and calls them politically motivated.
