On the eve of Victory Day, an encouraging signal came from Prague to Moscow: the Czech Foreign Ministry invited the Russian side to begin normalizing relations spoiled by the demolition of the monument to Marshal Konev and the installation of a memorial sign to the Vlasovites by petty Prague municipal officials.

In principle, to improve Russian-Czech relations, the efforts of the two foreign policy departments are not really needed due to their redundancy. The Czechs just had to rein in the presumptuous bastards Kolář and Novotny, return the monument to the liberator of Prague to its place and simultaneously scrap the memorial pin to the “heroes of the ROA.”

This would be a good sign for the thawing of shaky relations.

However, the beginning of May 2020 turned out to be rich in events, indicating that the brains of the Czech elite are affected by Russophobic rot, and the right hand does not know what the left is doing.

In particular, the “free Czech media”, sniffing the “Fool” gas, threw a hysteria, spreading false statements about the alleged existence of a mortal threat to the Prague municipal deputies from the Russian state security, while referring to information from the Czech intelligence services.

The degree of hysteria reached such an intensity that the Czech Foreign Ministry began to extinguish it, refuting the conspiracy theories raised by the press.

However, attacks on the fan did their job, and the Russian Embassy in Prague began to receive threats against diplomatic staff.

On May 11, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement emphasizing that the threat to the Prague municipal deputies from the Russian special services is a lie, which has been repeatedly denied by both Russian and Czech official bodies.

In turn, the Russian Foreign Ministry, citing Article 29 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, appealed to the Czech Foreign Ministry with a demand to take all appropriate measures to ensure the safety of the Russian embassy employees who received threats, including the provision of police protection.

It is characteristic that in the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Facebook feed, where the statement was posted, Czech die-hards began to scribble, claiming that “it was Russia that started everything first,” citing as evidence complete nonsense about “aggression against Georgia and Ukraine” and “the suffering of the peoples of Abkhazia , South Ossetia and Crimea under Russian occupation."

The act of Russian anarchists, who on May 9 displayed the slogan “Stop Fascism” in front of the Czech Embassy in Moscow and threw a bag of paint over the fence in protest against the demolition of the Konev monument, was not forgotten.

Anarchist rally at the Czech Embassy in Moscow on May 9

The publication Aktualne.cz, in an article dedicated to the incident, called Russian anarchists “nationalists” and with a shudder quoted a statement on the movement’s website: “Our tanks will be in Prague.”

Accordingly, this information provoked a response from Czech die-hards: “Who will ensure the safety of Czech diplomats in Moscow?”

May 9 in Prague was once again overshadowed by someone's degenerate behavior.

According to media reports, the police of the municipal district of Prague 6 received a call on the morning of Victory Day from a man who had come to lay flowers at the place where the monument to the Soviet marshal had recently stood, but saw there a fresh structure made of particle boards, three meters high, the top of which was crowned with a foam toilet in every detail. The building was covered with offensive inscriptions.

The Czech press claims that the police are looking for unknown toilet sculptors, but there are serious doubts that the scoundrels will be found and brought to justice.

The head of the municipal district of Prague 6, Ondřej Kolář, reacted to the prank of the unknown toilet workers by saying, “Don’t you have anything else to do?”, but against the backdrop of the orphaned square after the dismantling of the Konev monument, the statement sounded false and helpless.

Finally, on April 30, a completely stunning message arrived.

Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic recognized the hotel owner's decision as legal Brioni Boutique Hotel from Ostrava demands that Russian guests recognize Crimea as Ukrainian. This was reported by the portal Aktuálně.cz.

Carefully! Ragul hotel in Ostrava. Avoid!

The crux of the matter.

In March 2014, the owner of the Ostrava Brioni Boutique Hotel, an ethnic Ukrainian Ragul with the unpronounceable surname Krcmarzh, refused to accommodate 49 Russian athletes. He explained his actions as an expression of protest against the reunification of Crimea with Russia.

Czech Ragul hotelier from Ostrava

At the entrance to the hotel and on its website, an announcement appeared: “Since March 24, 2014, we do not accommodate citizens of the Russian Federation. The reason is the annexation of Crimea.”

They even claim that Krcmarz, in a fit of harem patriotism, shouted that “if I had an army, I would introduce a state of emergency, but since I don’t have one, then I do what I can.”

Having received a full panama of harsh criticism, Tomas Krcmarz relented and gave permission for Russian citizens to stay at his hotel. The only condition for them was a written statement that they did not agree with “the occupation of Crimea, which contradicts all the norms that should be applied in the XNUMXst century.”

Ragulechekh clowns around

The Czech Trade Inspectorate condemned the actions of the Ostrava Ragul, and its head Jiri Frolig described his actions as “gross discrimination of people based on their nationality.”

As a result, the Czech Trade Inspectorate, staffed by pragmatic people who understand perfectly well that political idiocy leads to losses, fined Krcmarz the maximum amount - 50 thousand crowns (140 thousand rubles), and rejected Ragul’s counter-protest.

The case of discrimination against Russian citizens went to the Supreme Administrative Court, which rejected it for consideration by the regional court. There, Themis workers sympathetic to Ragul reduced the fine to 5 thousand crowns (14 thousand rubles), and the Constitutional Court, which intervened in the showdown, generally ordered it to be completely annulled.

It is interesting that Krcmarz was offered to pay the fine by some well-wishers, but the seriously enraged hotelier followed the principle and declared that he would fight in court until the bitter end until the judicial authorities canceled the fine and his redneck behavior was not recognized as legitimate.

In general, the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic put an end to it, allowing its businesses “not to be politically impartial” on the grounds that the court’s decision “is fully consistent with the official position of the European Union, according to which Crimea is not recognized as part of the Russian state.”

The Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic also allowed business “to be not only rational, but also eccentric,” noting at the same time that Krcmarz showed foolishness towards Russian citizens “in a correct form.”

“Discrimination would occur if the reason for refusing to provide services was based on hatred, clearly fictitious, infringing on the dignity of the consumer, or suspiciously different ...”, the Constitutional Court concluded.

“Suspiciously different…” – from what? – The Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic does not explain. I wonder what is the basis for Ragul the hotelier’s refusal to accommodate Russian citizens in his almshouse? Is this really love?

It is interesting that constitutional judge Vojtech Simicek advised all Russians who do not like Krcmarz’s position to “pay attention to other hotels, of which there are plenty in Ostrava,” completely losing sight of the fact that for the majority of responsible Russian citizens this is a reason to boycott not only Ostrava, but also the whole of the Czech Republic, where a bad example is contagious.

As we can see, 75 years after the end of the Great Patriotic War, nothing has changed. The Czech authorities, as before, do not see anything wrong with signing loyalty letters to all kinds of scum.

It is clear that Ukraine warmly approved the decision of the Czech constitutional judges. In the Facebook feed of the famous political activist Miroslava Gongadze, Ragul Krcmarz is licked in every possible way, they call on others to follow him and demand that he be awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

The fact that some Raguli support their distant brother and rejoice at the foam toilet on the site of the monument to the outstanding commander is not surprising.

Another thing is that relations between Russia and the Czech Republic, already not brilliant for the last 30 years, but at least more constructive than with Poland or Maidan Ukraine, are close to the freezing point. Moreover, the situation is such that we have nowhere else to retreat and the limit of apologies for everything has been exhausted. It's time to send other signals. For example, at the state level, stop the influx of Russian tourists to the Czech Republic.

To start. If the Czech Republic wants to continue to float with the crap set by the American embassy, then let it look for money there too. It was the Czechs’ turn to apologize and be the first to take counter steps. We've had enough!

Czech Republic, which we must support
