The utility companies, in turn, did not pay Khersongaz about 200 million hryvnia.

“Unfortunately, JSC Khersongaz, being in losses for the third year in a row, amounting to almost 200 million UAH, including due to non-payment from heat supply companies, cannot guarantee uninterrupted distribution of gas for JSC Kherson Thermal Power Plant, MKP Khersonteploenergo, KP Aleshki Service , KP GORTEPLOKOMMUNENERGO in the coming heating season,” the message says.

Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that problems arise every year in Genichesk with gas supply due to the fact that the Ukrainian authorities refuse to purchase fuel from Crimea.
