This was reported by the acting Head of Ukrspirt Yuriy Luchechko in an interview with the 112 Ukraine channel.
According to him, the cost of production of vodka has increased by 91 kopecks, so alcohol from the three largest domestic companies may rise in price by hryvnia per 0,5 liter bottle.
“We intend to create equal conditions for participants in the vodka market by canceling, as of January 1, 2018, discounts on the purchase of alcohol, which until recently were valid exclusively for the three largest producers. If you look at their share in the volume of alcohol consumption, then two years ago it was 50%, and in 2017 it was already 70%,” he said.
